We've Had the Labour, the Gender and the Name - What Now for Wills, Kate and George?
by
Declan Hill
The birth of any new baby is something to cheer about and congratulations go to Kate and Wills for the birth of their son, George. For the media in the UK, there wasn't another story that came close to the column inches and rolling news hours devoted to the event. For six days, all we had was the media-created frenzy, gossip and speculation and Facebook and Twitter was full of it along with the republican/disinterested counter-cynicism. So now that the baby is home, what next?

A Short Biography on Some of Europe's Most Loved and Hated Monarchs - Pt2 (Mad) King George III
by
Stuart Bazga
During the last thousand years, European Monarchs have ruled Europe and the world with an iron fist and by fear, compassion and hatred. As their wealth grew from the riches of newly conquered continents and lands, they began building some of the worlds greatest castles as a sign of their status and wealth, leaving behind a legacy of beauty and splendor that has lasted well into the 21st century. These members of royalty have included tyrants, the mentally insane, drunks and the psychotic, who have murdered for pleasure and raped for enjoyment. Imposed terrible taxes on already poor citizens. They married for financial power and traded in lives. Kinfolk were murdered so a favorable son could rise through the ranks. As their power increased so did the atrocities, bringing with it the hatred of a nation and it's people. Join me as we take a trip back in time, discovering which Monarchs were tyrants, mentally unstable, drunks and psychotic, as well as those who were loved by their people. This series of articels will highlight the lives of Vlad Tepes(Dracula), King Ludwig II and King George III to name a few.

by
Nigel S. Butler
Sitting as very close neighbours to each other on this stretch of Kent coast (Eng) are three golf courses which have hosted The Open championship - Royal St Georges, Royal Cinque Ports and Prince's. Only Royal St Georges is on the current Open championship rosta, but the other two golf courses are still wonderful exemplars of English links golf.

Edinburgh City Centre and Princes Street Hotels Set the Benchmark!
by
Robbie Leys
In a city with accommodation as diverse as Edinburgh's, you wouldn't expect the high-end of the market to be one-dimensional, surely? Ask the locals about expensive and luxury hotels in Edinburgh and almost everyone will mention the names Balmoral and Caledonian Hilton... and rightly so.

Indian Coins From Princely States!
by
Richard Rosenhaft
Most of India was controlled by the British before its independence in 1947. However, the Indian states did not have to give up their right to issue coins within their respective states. Since these coins were circulated only within a particular state there was never any need for standardization of denominations of coins between states.
