It turns out that over 1 million ads on TV were bought and paid for by presidential campaigns and their friends running super PACs. Yes, that's a lot of money considering that most of those ads cost huge amounts of money on the major cable TV networks, not to mention all the affiliate stations. Indeed, over $2 billion were spent on the presidential election this year, and $3 billion if you include all the Congress and Senate races.

Is it time to impeach President Barack Obama? I believe so, and there has been a lot of hanky-panky going on in the Oval Office, and with the Administration. Now then, we haven't done a formal investigation, and the Justice Department seems to be giving him a free ride, but there have been several things that put up question marks, they are not being addressed. Oh sure, occasionally the media, mostly the opposition media like Fox News mentions some of the games being played and the executive branch, but no one has dared to go against this president.

They say that paybacks are a bear and if you recall there was quite a bit of talk from Democrats during the Bush Administration to institute a plan to impeach him from office. Perhaps, this was a payback from the Clinton Administration over the Lewinski "Headgate" scandal? Either way, the opposition party is there to oppose and if President Obama is elected there will be people who immediately call for his impeachment as soon as the first crisis develops.

If Obama Is Reelected Will the Republicans Try to Impeach Him?

The other day, I was speaking to a group of friends about what might happen if Obama happens to get reelected. We discussed the last four years and mismanagement of our government, our military, our economy, and diplomatic efforts. We wondered if the country could handle four-more years of this. We all agreed that it could but it would be a real bad place to take our great nation. Next someone wondered if it made sense to just impeach the gentleman, which would be feasible if we had a strong majority in both the House of Representatives and the US Senate.

I am not sure who is more of a dummy: the potential impeachee who blatantly ignores the rules and restrictions laid out in the Constitution of the United States, or he who stubbornly turns his head due to party loyalties, regardless of how obvious an infraction might be. Perhaps I should pull out a copy of "Idiot's Guide to Violating the Constitution" just to gain an understanding of the level of hubris one must possess in order perpetually walk above the law out in the open for the whole world to see.

In Senator John McCain's concession speech to President Elect Barack Obama he asked all his supporters and everyone that voted for him to now get behind Barack Obama because the election was over and it's time to move on as Americans. He discussed the 22-months of campaigning, which had ended; the contest was over and the Barack Obama campaign ran a good fight and they had won.

It is amazing how many tea party voters are calling for the impeachment of the President of the United States of America. Now even the Republicans are calling for the impeachment of President Obama. There is even more talk about his birth certificate, and failure to provide the long form, rather submitting a certificate of live birth, which is not proof that anyone was born in a particular place, only that they are alive during the certificate filing.

Enough Talk - Impeachment Now!

Not long ago, I was talking with a neo-socialist-liberal at Starbucks, and he suggested that the Obama Administration needed to move to the center and continue to lead the country, perhaps compromising a little with the Republicans. Indeed, I was completely taken aback, you see when we have the largest change in Congress in 72 years, that's a mandate, and yes, it's a "shellacking" too as President Obama stated - darn straight!
