The Original Robinson Crusoe
by
Fred Watson
It was in the year 1719 that the author, Daniel Defoe, published the book that we know as Robinson Crusoe, Defoe's actual long winded title was, "The Life and Strange Surprizing Adventures of Robinson Crusoe, of York, Mariner: Who lived Eight and Twenty Years, all alone in an uninhabited Island on the Coast of America, near the Mouth of the Great River of Oroonoque; Having been cast on Shore by Shipwreck, wherein all the Men perished but himself. With An Account how he was at last as strangely delivered by Pirates". Robinson Crusoe is a fictional story telling of the trials and tribulations of a shipwrecked sailor, who sailed from Queens Dock in Hull in August 1651, was shipwrecked, yet returned to the sea again and was then captured by Moors.

5 Young Sluggers Frightening Pitchers Nightly on Satellite TV
by
John R. Harrison
When you think of baseball, it can look an awful lot like a duel built for two. It's a team sport, of course, but predicated on head-to-head matchups between pitcher and batter. For that reason, the effect a power hitter can have on games or whole series can never be underestimated.

Yankees go Home Run Crazy
by
Freddy C
The Yankees avoided a sweep at the hands of the Cleveland Indians, by winning at home, 6-3, hitting four home runs. Yankee fans should be very nervous, as it takes four homers and barely 5 innings from Mike Mussina to get the job done.
